The Hassall Family book was first published nearly 30 years ago for the Hassall Family Bicentenary (1998) event at Cobbitty and Camden NSW.
It contained several chapters about the early life of Rowland and Elizabeth, starting with their origins in Coventry, England, and their journey to Tahiti. It also included a chapter for each of their children, and told stories of them and the grand-children. The final chapter contained a family tree of those with the Hassall name at the time. A new edition is planned for publishing in 2026 – that contains an expanded family tree and has included the female lines as well as those with the Hassall name.
