Hassall Street in Parramatta was named after James Hassall [AAA], the grandson of Rowland and Elizabeth. Apparently he owned land in the area at the time – the street was named around 1876 and was extended a few years later.
His grandparents originally had a house in George Street, a block or two to the north. His father, Thomas [AA], was in Denbigh approximately 25 miles to the south.
